HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Mia Brown earned Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First Team All-South Region honors, recognizing her as one of the top designated players in the South Region.
A native of Fayetteville, Mia Brown established herself as one of the region's top offensive performers. She leads the Chargers with a .420 batting average while totaling 58 hits, 17 doubles, three home runs, and 43 RBIs across 57 appearances. Brown also compiled a .623 slugging percentage and a .542 on-base percentage. She has scored 26 runs and drawn 38 walks while striking out only nine times in 138 at-bats.
Brown and the Chargers continue postseason play on Thursday, May 21, in the NCAA South Super Regional against No. 1 seed Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla.
