Prep: Played for Jay Burney at Buckhorn High School in New Market, Ala. … Named an all-state performer during his senior season while also earning a spot in the North vs. South All-Star game as he averaged 18 points and six rebounds … Named all-area during his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns and was an all-state honorable mention selection during his junior year.
