2012 (JUNIOR)
Cody set the all-time saves record for UAH baseball last season as he compiled ten saves, putting his career mark at 12…he finished with four wins and five losses, racking up an ERA of only 3.35 while on his way to leading the team in appearances with 27 and compiled over 48 innings pitched…he was remarkably efficient striking out 37 batters while allowing only five walks…his first appearance of the year he threw 2.1 innings allowing only one run and striking out six on his way to his first victory…his first save came against Stillman on Feb. 26 as he threw a scoreless ninth shutting the door for a 6-3 win.

2011 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in 18 games on the mound on the season … posted a 2-0 record to go with two saves on the year … carried the team’s lowest earned run average of those pitching more than 20 innings with a 3.90 ERA … worked 27.2 innings and allowed 13 runs (12 ER) on 27 hits with 17 strikeouts and four walks … earned his first victory of the season against Lambuth (March 20), tossing two shutout innings, while striking out two batters … picked up his second win in his very next outing at Alabama A&M (March 23), working a season-high 4.0 innings and notching a career-best five strikeouts.
 
2010 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in 13 games on the mound in his rookie campaign … posted a 2-3 record on the year while carrying the team’s lowest earned run average of those pitching more than 25 innings with a 4.61 ERA … worked 27.1 innings and allowed 22 runs (14 ER) on 39 hits with nine strikeouts and two walks … notched his first collegiate victory against Stillman (Feb. 27), working 3.0 innings and allowing one run … earned his second win of the year at Martin Methodist (April 6) after pitching just 1.0 inning.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Oakland High School and was coached by Mack Hawks and Travis Holland … led team to a 42-2 record as a sophomore and team was ranked No. 2 in the nation.
 
PERSONAL
Born on Sept. 7, 1990 … son of Harold and Jackie Barrett … has two sisters, Monica and Cassidy … majoring in civil engineering.
