Josh Slone is in his third season as an assistant with the UAH men’s lacrosse team. His primary efforts are centered around defense and goalies while also running the substitution box on game days.
Prior to arriving at UAH, Slone played three seasons at Transylvania in Lexington, Kentucky, including two for UAH head coach Connor McGowan. He was on the program’s inaugural team and recorded the first-ever win in goal for the school. During his junior season, the team won the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference’s first-ever championship, and he helped hold opponents to a conference low of nine goals per game.
A Transylvania graduate with a degree in accounting, Slone presently lives with his wife in Athens.
