Shelby Campbell

Shelby Campbell is in her third season as an assistant coach with the UAH women’s basketball program.

During her time in the Rocket City, UAH has advanced to two GSC tournaments, and Campbell has mentored an all-GSC selection along with a CoSIDA Academic All-American.
 
Campbell was a decorated player at Samford, earning Most Outstanding Player honors at the 2012 SoCon Tournament in addition to being named an all-conference performer that season along with capturing a position on the All-Freshman Team in 2011.
 
Campbell’s efforts helped lead Samford to back-to-back SoCon titles along with consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament.
 
A native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Campbell starred at national power Blackman High School where she was a McDonald’s All-American nominee while also earning the status of being the 39th-ranked point guard in the country by ESPNU.
