Joan Copeland was named assistant coach for the Lady Charger volleyball program in the spring of 2003. She also managed the UAH Athletics Camp program from 2004-2010.
The Huntsville, Ala., native had served as a volunteer assistant since 1998. She has also assisted with game operations during home matches as well as serving as a sports information representative on road trips.
Joan is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching and Secondary Education, while earning a minor in Science.
