About the Chargers

THREE'S A STREAK – The Chargers are going for a season-high three-game winning streak on Friday after defeating the two-time GSC defending champions Christian Brothers on Sunday, 3-0.  Kyle Simmons netted his team-high sixth goal of the season, while Yuri Ivanov and Mitch Wilson notched their second and first goals of the season, respectively. UAH's last three-game win streak came in 2011 from Oct. 7-14.
 
RETURNING HOME – After going 2-2 on a four-game road trip, the Chargers return home for the first time since Sept. 15. The Blue and White are 2-1 at home this season, outscoring their opponents 6-3 at Charger Park. UAH will finish the season playing six of its final nine games at home.
 
CONFERENCE LEADERS: Kyle Simmons' sixth goal on Sunday moved him into the lead for the most goals in the GSC. The Huntsville native is also first in goals per game (.750), second in points (12) and points per game (1.50). Fellow teammate Anthony Benitez also tops the conference with four assists on the season and assists per game (.50). Freshman goalkeeper Will Carpenter has had an impressive debut season, earning his conference-leading third shutout on Sunday at Christian Brothers. The Orange Beach, Ala., native also leads the GSC in saves per game with 4.63.

About the Opponent

SEASON UPDATE: In Union's last match with Christian Brothers, CBU handed the Bulldogs their third loss of the season, 3-0. Union travels to Charger Park with a 3-3-1 record on the year, and a 1-3-1 mark in the GSC. The Bulldogs began the season 2-0-1, with wins coming against Cumberland and Trevecca Nazarene. However, Union has lost three of their last four matches while their only win coming against a tough West Florida team, 1-0.
 
ALPHA 'DOGS: Diego Santos, Alex Pratt and Caleb Mills have done most of the damage for the Bulldogs this season, accounting for eight of the teams 11 goals. Santos and Pratt also lead the team with seven points each. Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Kesler has 41 saves while allowing nine goals on the season.

Series History

Union currently owns a 4-0 record against the Chargers. The Bulldogs swept both matches last season, 6-2, and 2-0.
