About the Lady Chargers

SCOREBOARD WATCHING: All eyes belonging to the UAH women's soccer program will be on Carrollton, Ga., on Friday afternoon as West Georgia hosts Valdosta State at 4 p.m. CDT. In order for UAH's postseason hopes to still be alive come Saturday, Valdosta State must win the contest. Should VSU do that, the Lady Chargers would then need to win against Union on Saturday to punch their ticket to the GSC championships.

BUNCHED UP: The Lady Chargers have four players near the top of the offensive ledger as Klaire Phillips continues to lead with seven points, while Maddie Maurice, Sydnie Fiocca, and Alex Petermann all have notched six points on the year.

STOPPING SHOTS: UAH moved into the Gulf South Conference lead in saves after its game against North Alabama on Wednesday as the Lady Chargers have now recorded 110 on the season. Iris Gunnarsdottir ranks second in the conference with 103 stops – her third straight season surpassing the century mark in saves.

ABOUT THE LADY BULLDOGS: Union enters the finale with a 6-5-3 (4-3-2 GSC) record, and the Lady Bulldogs are winners of two of their last three games including a 3-2 double overtime win over Shorter in their last time out.

UNION'S LEADERS: Kayleigh Patterson leads the way with seven goals for Union, while Madison Purdy has a team-best three assists. Emily Waggoner has recorded each minute in goal for the Lady Bulldogs, and she owns a goals against average of 1.15 to go along with a .788 save percentage.
