UAH at Spring Hill (3-7-1, 1-6-1)
Oct. 19, 2014 - Mobile, Ala. - 1 p.m.
Live Stats: shcbadgers.com
AWAY FOR TWO: After being able to play just one game last weekend due to the heavy rains on Sunday, UAH will play its first game in a week on Friday night when the team takes on West Florida in Pensacola at 5 p.m. The Chargers will then travel to Mobile, Alabama, to take on Spring Hill on Sunday. Kickoff for that contest is slated for 1 p.m.

ON THE OUTSIDE TRYING TO GET BACK IN: After falling to Shorter 1-0 last week, the Chargers are now in a tie with nine points for the sixth position in the standings among teams eligible for the postseason, but Shorter holds nine points, also, and thus would own the tiebreaker if the season ended today. The top six teams this season will reach the GSC Championships.

LOOKING AHEAD: After this weekend, the Chargers will host West Georgia next Friday in a pivotal contest as the Wolves currently sit just two points behind UAH and Shorter in the league. The Blue and White will then head to Valdosta State on Sunday looking to earn a positive result with the third-place team in the GSC.

ABOUT WEST FLORIDA: The Argos will take a 6-4 (4-2 GSC) record into the Friday contest, falling 1-0 their last time out in a game at North Alabama. Both April Syme and Sara Helgadottir lead UWF with 12 points as Syme has six goals while Helgadottir has four goals and four assists on the season.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH has never beaten West Florida, falling in all 19 attempts, but the Chargers have played West Florida close under head coach Jimmy Mitchell. A season ago, West Florida won the lone meeting 2-0 in Huntsville.

ABOUT SPRING HILL: Sunday's hosts enter the weekend with a record of 3-7-1 including a 1-6-1 mark in conference play (however, Spring Hill is in its first year of the GSC membership process and thus is not eligible for the postseason). Courtney Harland leads the team with six goals and two assists for 14 points.

SERIES HISTORY: The series history with Spring Hill is brief, and both teams have a win in just two all-time meetings.
