MEMPHIS | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team travelled to conference-leader Christian Brothers Friday night and fell by a 2-0 score at Signaigo Field. The Chargers slip to 3-6-0 (2-3-0 Gulf South Conference), while the Lady Bucs improve to 8-1-0 (4-1-0 GSC).

After a scoreless first half, Camilla Rodrigues opened the scoring for Christian Brothers with a strike in the 48th minute, and the CBU lead would expand to the eventual 2-0 final when Lydia Fuson scored from distance in the 64th.

The home side controlled play through much of the affair, holding a 28-2 advantage in shots including an 11-1 edge in shots on goal as UAH keeper
Larae Breaux made nine stops in the contest. The Chargers did earn three corners in the contest, while CBU had four on the night.

The contest featured a combined 26 fouls, and there were five bookings.

The Chargers will return to action on Sunday when they continue play in the Volunteer State at Union in Jackson. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
