BACK AT HOME: The Chargers return home after last weekend's trip to Tennessee to face Gulf South Conference foes Shorter and Lee, and UAH will be looking for a productive weekend after splitting a week ago, falling on a PK to Christian Brothers before defeating Union. Friday night's contest against the Hawks is slated for 7:30 p.m., while Sunday's kickoff with Lee is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

CONFERENCE STANDINGS: The Chargers are tied with Christian Brothers for the top spot in the league as both squads have earned nine points on the strength of 3-1 records in conference play. Just behind the two teams is West Florida with seven points, while West Alabama and Shorter are tied for fourth with six points. The top two teams at the end of the regular season will earn a bye in the first round of the conference tournament, making those spots especially coveted.

CLEAN SHEETS: UAH ranks first in the conference with five shutouts on the season as the team is chasing the school record for shutouts in a season of eight that was set by the 2011 squad. The Chargers strong defensive play has the team second in the conference in goals allowed, giving up .80 per game which is just behind Christian Brother's mark of .78 in one fewer game played than the Blue and White.

GAME-WINNERS: Senior Mitch Wilson earned his second game-winning strike of the season last weekend at Union, ranking him in a tie for second in the conference. The Huntsville native also earned the decisive goal earlier in the year in a 3-0 win over Eckerd.

ABOUT THE HAWKS: Shorter owns a 3-5-1 (2-0-0 GSC) record on the season, but the mark is a little deceptive as Shorter is unbeaten in its last four contests including a 2-1 double overtime win over West Florida in its last contest. Irvin Espinal leads the Hawks with four goals, while Nicolas Ferrigno has seen all the action in goal, posting a 1.80 goals against average and a .709 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY: Shorter owns the series history by a 5-2 margin, but the two teams split a pair of games last year. The Hawks won a 1-0 decision in Huntsville, while UAH won 2-1 at Shorter as Kyle Simmons scored the game-winner in the 88th minute.

ABOUT THE FLAMES: Lee visits Huntsville with a 6-2-2 record on the season and a 1-0-1 mark in conference play, and the team is also unbeaten in its last four games. Quade Marinell leads the Flames with five goals and six assists for 16 points, and David Perez has matched him in the goals category as he also owns five on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: The all-time series is tilted towards Sunday's visitors by a 3-1 margin after the Flames took both meetings last year.
