HIGHLIGHTS | PHOTOS
HUNTSVILLE | Rolling to its fifth straight victory to open the season, the University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team led the entire way in a 75-62 win over visiting Stillman on Sunday afternoon at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall on the final day of the Gene Lusk Classic. UAH improves to 5-0 on the season, while Stillman slips to 0-3.

Sophomore Seab Webster paced the Chargers, recording his third 20-point game of the season as he poured in 25 for the night, while both Preston Herring and Ronnie Mack joined him in double figures with 17 and 14, respectively. Herring was 6-for-7 from the field with three more dunks and 12 rebounds for his first double-double, while Mack was 4-for-8 from beyond the arc.

Maintaining his position atop the Gulf South Conference in total assists, Greg Gardner led the hosts with eight more helpers, helping UAH assist on 19 of their 24 made buckets.

UAH scored eight of the game's first 10 points and held a 17-point advantage at 28-11 just past the midway point of the opening half, and though Stillman would close the half outscoring the Chargers 18-10, the Blue and White would take a 38-29 lead into the halftime break.

In the second half, Stillman would draw to within eight at 47-39 at the 12:56 mark, but Webster would score 10 of his points on a 14-4 UAH run over the next six minutes, allowing the Chargers to build up their largest lead of the night at 61-43 before preventing Stillman to pull the contest back into single digits the rest of the way.

On the night, UAH shot 44.4 percent while holding Stillman to a shooting mark of 40.7 percent, and the Chargers won the battle on the glass by a 39-31 margin behind Herring's big night on the boards.

The Chargers will have the week of Thanksgiving off before hitting the road for the first time this season when the team travels to Trevecca Nazarene on Monday, Dec. 1.
