TO THE VOLUNTEER STATE: The Chargers travel to Union for a 4 p.m. contest on Saturday before turning around to take on Christian Brothers in Memphis at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. UAH is now 10-4 (5-3 GSC) after snapping a three-game slide with a victory over Delta State in the team's last contest. Both games will be carried on 97.7 The Zone in the Tennessee Valley, with Monday's broadcast being exlusive online.

CONFERENCE UPDATE: Saturday's contest will pit the Chargers against Union who is currently leading the league at 6-2, while UAH is joined by Shorter and Delta State in a three-way tie for second at 5-3. After fifth-place and 4-3 West Georgia, Christian Brothers is one of four teams – two of which are eligible for the postseason – who are in sixth with a 4-4 record.

STILL STRONG ON D: UAH continues to lead the GSC defensively, holding opponents to a conference-low field goal percentage of 41.4 percent while allowing the opposition to score just 64.9 points per game. Additionally, the Chargers are in the middle of the pack in blocked shots, averaging 3.71 per contest.

LOOKING FOR ROAD SUCCESS: The Chargers are just 1-4 away from Spragins Hall and will be looking to improve upon that mark in West Tennessee. UAH's one road win was an impressive one as the team cruised past West Georgia with four players scoring in double figures including 23 from Seab Webster and a 17-point, 18-rebound showing from Preston Herring.

ABOUT UNION: The Bulldogs are off to an impressive 12-2 (6-2 GSC) start in this their first year of postseason eligibility as a full-time GSC member, and they are winners of four straight. Four players score in double figures for Union with Corieon Pearson and Marterrace Brock leading the way with 17.9 and 17.4 points per night, respectively.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers have only met Union the four times in the past two years that Union has been a GSC member, and UAH has won all four meetings. A year ago in Jackson, Tennessee, the Chargers won 63-55 with Taylor Chapman and Webster representing two of the four that scored in double figures for UAH.

ABOUT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: CBU enters this set of games at 7-5 (4-4 GSC), but the one game that is not reflected in the record is an overtime exhibition win over Memphis. Trey Casey leads the Bucs offensively, scoring 18.6 points per contest, while Sidy Sall is scoring 15.3 points per game to go along with 7.9 rebounds.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH owns a strong 17-7 advantage in the all-time series with Christian Brothers, but CBU took two of the three contests between the programs last season including a 78-50 decision in Memphis.
