CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team wrapped up its three-match weekend with a pair of losses on Saturday afternoon, beginning with a 3-0 defeat in a GSC matchup against Lee and a 3-1 loss in a non-conference contest against Trevecca Nazarene. UAH dips to 16-11 (7-7 GSC), while LU and TNU improve to 9-13 (5-8 GSC) and 12-8, respectively.
Lee 3, UAH 0 (18-25, 12-25, 24-26)The Flames controlled the match heavily at the outset, taking the first match 25-17 after scoring six of the final eight points in the first set. Lee's success would carry over to the second frame, as the home team utilized a 12-0 rally en route to a 2-0 match lead and a 25-12 win in the middle stanza.
UAH would rebound in the third set and held an early 6-2 advantage against the Flames after starting the frame on a 4-0 rally. The Chargers tied the game later on in the set before Lee managed to score the final two points for the 26-24 set win for a 3-0 match victory.
Freshman 
Anna LeDuc led the UAH attack with seven kills, followed by junior 
Rachel Brugman with three successful swings and a .500 hitting percentage. Sophomore 
Kirsten Giles finished with a double-double on 24 assists and 16 digs.
TNU 3, UAH 1 (26-24, 20-25, 24-26, 22-25)The Chargers were able to continue their strong play from the third set of the first match of the day, as the Blue and White won the opening frame 26-24 thanks to a key 3-0 run at the tail end of the stanza.
However, Trevecca Nazarene won the second set 25-20 to even the match at 1-1, before going ahead in the match with a 26-24 victory in the third stanza. The third was tied late at 24-24 before TNU tallied the final two scores of the frame.
The fourth set held similarities to the third set, as the Chargers and Trojans would be knotted 21-21 late in the frame. TNU went on to score four of the last five points for the 25-22 set victory and 3-1 match win.
Senior 
Haley Snyder posted a team-best 14 kills with a .650 hitting percentage, with LeDuc and 
Lorah Yonce chipping in 11 and 10 successful swings, respectively. Giles recorded her second double-double of the day against TNU with 43 assists and 11 digs.
