Sunday, March 1 | 12 p.m. | LIVE STATSON THE ROAD: The No. 7 UAH softball team will hit the road for the first time in the 2015 campaign this weekend, traveling to Mississippi College for a three-game Gulf South Conference set. Saturday's doubleheader is slated for a 3 p.m. start, and the series will conclude on Sunday with a 2 p.m. contest. UAH is 10-3 (5-0 GSC).

STREAKING: The Chargers have won six straight games including the perfect start in conference play, and that strong start to the season has resulted in the team vaulting to the seventh position in this week's NFCA Top 25. Additionally, dating back to last season the Chargers have won 18 straight league games.

LEADING THE WAY: Junior
Brianna Sullivan has started the season off strong at the dish, batting a team-best .455 with 20 hits in 44 at-bats, and though 18 of the hits have been singles, Sullivan is a constant threat on the basepaths, matching
Victoria Frith for the team lead in stolen bases with 10.

GETTING ON: In addition to ranking second on the squad with a .361 batting average, Frith has drawn seven walks and been hit by a pitch six times to lead the team with a .531 on-base percentage which is good for seventh in the conference.

SWIPING BAGS: UAH – who sit the GSC record for steals in a season last year – is once again at the top of the conference in stolen bases, recording 35 through the first 13 games.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Choctaws enter the weekend at 8-4 (5-1 GSC) after sweeping Union at home last weekend. Brooke Smitherman is batting .500 and owns 11 walks for an on-base percentage of .622 to lead the team, while Ashley Subervielle has a team-best eight RBI. In the circle, Carlie Sargent features a staff-best 0.98 ERA and a 5-1 record, and opponents are hitting just .161 off of her.

WELCOME BACK: Mississippi College is transition back to Division II and has rejoined the GSC which it called home during its first D-II stint. Games against MC count in the GSC standings, but the team is not yet eligible for postseason action.
