FOLLOW LIVE STATS | WATCH THE GAMES
ON THE ROAD AGAIN: The eighth-ranked Chargers will return to action this weekend when they travel to West Florida for a three-game Gulf South Conference series. Saturday's doubleheader for the 13-5 (8-2 GSC) team will start at 1 p.m., and the set will conclude on Sunday with the single game slated also for a 1 p.m. start.

SERIES MILESTONE: The first game of the series will represent the 100th all-time meeting between UAH and West Florida in softball. The Chargers own a 56-43 advantage in the all-time series, and the two teams have met in numerous high-stakes situations with both programs winning 13 games against the other in the postseason including both the GSC and NCAA tournaments.

RISP-Y BUSINESS: Kaitlyn Bannister is leading UAH with runners in scoring position, recording 14 hits in 29 such at-bats for a .483 average, and also hitting above .400 in those situations is Brianna Sullivan who has 10 hits in 24 at-bats to hit .417. Additionally, Bannister has a strong seven RBI in 10 opportunities with a runner on third base and less than two outs.

GOING THE DISTANCE: Through 10 appearances this season, junior pitcher Kimberly Jack has matched the number of career games that she carried into the 2015 season, going the distance in four games – a number that she also performed during her freshman season before not going the entirety of a game last year. Jack has been tremendous in the circle, posting an 0.69 ERA, a 5-1 record, and 30 strikeouts.

ABOUT THE ARGOS: West Florida is 6-17 on the season overall and owns a 3-9 GSC record while holding a 4-9 mark at home in Pensacola. The team dropped two of three to Union last weekend and split a midweek doubleheader at home with Mercyhurst on Tuesday.

LEADING THE WAY: Meghan Toney is hitting .340 on the season to lead UWF who is batting just .239 as a team, and Jenna Belser paces the squad with 14 RBI. In the circle, Becca Taylor has a 1.73 ERA to go along with a 2-1 record.
