NON-CONFERENCE TUNE-UP: UAH will travel to Stillman on Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader looking to snap a three-game slide after dropping three tight contests at North Alabama this past weekend. The Chargers will carry a 23-8 record into the twinbill that is slated for a 2 p.m. start in Tuscaloosa.
Â
SCHEDULE SHUFFLE: Tuesday's contests were rescheduled from Huntsville to Tuscaloosa after the originally scheduled games were rained out, and due to the abnormally high amount of changes and cancellations in the schedule this year due to the weather, UAH has added an additional non-conference doubleheader at home against Arkansas Tech on April 21.
Â
NON-LEAGUE PLAY IN '15: The Chargers have played just 12 games outside of the Gulf South Conference this season, posting a 9-3 record in those contests.
Brianna Sullivan and
Michal Robertson are pacing UAH in non-GSC action, hitting .476 and .472, respectively, with Robertson recording a team-best 15 RBI in non-conference games.
Â
ABOUT STILLMAN: The Tigers are 16-12 overall this season including a strong 11-3 at home in Tuscaloosa. Winners of three straight, Stillman is offensively led by Jessica Matthews who is hitting .416 with three homers and a team-best 36 RBI, while Mickenzie Sparks owns a team-best 3.92 ERA in the circle.
Â
SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers are a perfect 9-0 all-time against Stillman including a doubleheader sweep a year ago in the Rocket City in which UAH won 9-2 and 10-2.
