Saturday, March 7 | 4 p.m. (DH) | LIVE STATS
Sunday, March 8 | 1 p.m. | LIVE STATS

BACK AT HOME: The ninth-ranked Chargers return to Charger Park this weekend for a three-game set against Shorter. UAH enters the weekend at 11-4 and is currently second in the Gulf South Conference with a 6-1 mark. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 2 p.m., and the series will conclude at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

TORRID START: With five more hits last week at Mississippi College, junior Brianna Sullivan continues to lead the Chargers in average as she is hitting at a .481 clip, and that mark is good for third in the GSC. In UAH's 15 games, Sullivan has not safely reached via a hit in just one.

HEATING UP: Sophomore Kaitlyn Bannister is currently on a five-game hitting streak that has increased her batting average 90 points to .340 on the season, and she has recorded eight RBI in the team's past three games to take over the team lead with 17 runs driven in for the year.

STRENGTH IN THE CIRCLE: Helping UAH have the third-best staff ERA in the GSC, Kimberly Jack leads all pitchers in the conference with an impressive 0.53 ERA while also leading the way with an opposition batting average of just .135. The junior has been strong both starting games as she has a pair of complete games to her credit, and she has continued her dominance at the end of contests as she owns two saves.

ABOUT SHORTER: The Hawks are 12-3 coming into the weekend with all three of those setbacks occurring in conference play as the team is 5-3 in GSC action. Paige Rowland is hitting .421 to have the team's best average, while Ericka Bynum features a team-best 16 RBI. The pitching staff owns a 1.92 ERA with Amanda Blanchard's 1.07 ERA and a 6-0 record.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is 4-1 all-time against Shorter with each meeting coming in the past two seasons as the Chargers took two out of three against the Hawks in Rome, Georgia, a year ago
