CLOSING OUT THE REGULAR SEASON: The 10th-ranked Chargers will close out the 2015 regular season this weekend when the team travels to Livingston to take on GSC foe West Alabama with Saturday's doubleheader slated for a 3 p.m. start and Sunday's finale on tap for 2 p.m. UAH enters the weekend at 35-11 (21-7 GSC) and is 11-4 in road games.

STANDINGS UPDATE: UAH and North Alabama enter the weekend looking to grab the bye that the second-seeded team at next week's GSC tournament will enjoy, as the Chargers (21-7, .750) are currently hold the spot, percentage points ahead of UNA (16-7, .621). UNA is hosting fourth-place Shorter this weekend.

ON A ROLL: Sophomore
Tyler Harrison has won six straight decisions in the circle for UAH while also tossing six straight complete games. Of her 70 strikeouts on the season, 36 have come during her recent torrid stretch including a UAH season-high 10 against Arkansas Tech earlier this week.

LEADING THE LEAGUE: Despite having just one player rank in the top 10 individually in the league in batting average (
Brianna Sullivan, .393), the Chargers are leading the league as a team, hitting .327 on the season. Eight of UAH's regulars are hitting better than .300 including five that are batting higher than .350 for the year.

ABOUT WEST ALABAMA: UWA enters the season's final weekend at 18-24 (10-19 GSC), and the squad owns an 11-10 record in Livingston. Since sweeping Christian Brothers at the end of March, the Tigers have dropped eight of their 11 contests in April.

LEADING THE WAY: Ashley Stassin's .385 average is tops on the UWA offensive ledger, and she also leads the team with 48 RBI on the strength of a team-best 11 home runs. In the circle, the team owns a 5.76 ERA with Alli Hall having thrown 11 complete games to win a team-high nine games.

SERIES HISTORY: The first game of this weekend's showdown will represent the 70th all-time meeting between UWA and UAH, and the Chargers hold a significant 61-8 edge all-time. A year ago, UAH won a pair of meetings before the series finale was washed out.
