PHOTOSHUNTSVILLE | Matching the program record for goals in a game, the University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team cruised past visiting Oakwood by a 14-1 score on Monday night at Charger Park. UAH improves to 3-1-1 with the victory.

The Chargers will now turn their attention to rival North Alabama as UAH ventures to Florence on Thursday. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. Three players recorded hat tricks in the contest led by
Sydney Pfankuch who moved to five goals on the season while also adding a pair of assists, and
Alexcia Alexander maintained her spot atop the UAH offensive ledger as she scored three times and tallied an assist to own six scores and 14 points on the season.

Scoring her first three goals in the Blue and White was
Kayla Dowler who rounded out the trio of hat-trick performances.

Isabel Shanteau also had a multi-goal performance, scoring twice and adding an assist, while
Sydnie Fiocca scored and picked up a team-best three assists in the game.
Summer Mooney registered a goal and picked up a pair of helpers, and
Raichele Langford notched both a goal and an assist.

The points for Langford mark the first of her collegiate career.

The Chargers built up a 12-0 advantage on the scoreboard by the half and finished the night outshooting Oakwood by a 32-4 margin including a 21-2 advantage in shots on goal. The home side also held an 8-3 edge in corners.
