The Chargers 11-0 record to start the season matches the program's best start to a season, which was set in the 1990 season with 11 consecutive victories.
Lee maintained a lead through the majority of the first set, including a 22-18 advantage late in the stanza. However, the Chargers would fight for a 5-0 run to take a 23-22 lead before eventually adding consecutive points for a 26-24 win in the initial frame.

Anna LeDuc paced the Chargers attack – which hit .378 for the stanza – with four kills and a .444 swing rate each.

The Blue and White went on to dominate the second set, hitting a collective .417 and holding Lee to a .057 swinging percentage.
Anna Claire Johnson led the Chargers in the stanza with four kills, while
Kirsten Giles totaled 10 of her 33 assists on the night.

UAH controlled much of the third set utilizing an early 5-0 run to own a seven-point advantage at 12-5 over the Flames. Lee rebounded to bring the score within two, trailing the Chargers 17-15, but a four-point run by UAH extended the lead to 21-15. The Blue and White would later end the match on block assists by
Rachel Brugman – who had a team-high four block assists – and Johnson.

Overall on the night, UAH totaled a .351 hitting percentage led by
Anna LeDuc with 11 kills on a .435 swing rate. Johnson also tallied 11 kills on the night with a .333 hitting percentage. Defensively, Giles registered a team-best 12 digs to go along with 33 assists for her fifth double-double of the season.
