FINAL HOMESTAND: The UAH women's soccer team returns to Charger Park for the final time this season as the Chargers will host Shorter on Friday at 5 p.m. before entertaining Lee at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The team will enter the weekend at 6-6-0 (2-5-0 GSC).

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers went on the road to West Tennessee last week, falling in a pair of tight games as Union was a 1-0 winner and Christian Brothers won 2-0 with the second goal coming in the game's final minute.

SENIOR DAY ON TAP: UAH will honor the program's two seniors prior to the game on Sunday as
Melody Hoernschemeyer and
Maddie Maurice will be playing their final game on the Charger Park pitch. Both have been four year starters for the Chargers with Maurice playing in 65 games while scoring six goals and adding four assists, and she leads UAH's field players this year with 1,041 minutes played. Hoernschemeyer in 63 games has 11 goals and nine assists, and 15 of her 31 career points have come this season.

STRONG AT HOME: Five of UAH's six wins have come in the Rocket City as the team is 5-3 at Charger Park, and the team is scoring nearly a goal per game on campus than it is on the road.

ABOUT SHORTER: The Hawks come to Huntsville at 1-9-1 (0-5-1 GSC). The team has scored just six goals on the season, and Taylor Hendrix has scored three of those to pace the team offensively.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH trails in the all-time series with Shorter as the Hawks have a 4-2-0 advantage in the meetings between the programs. Last year in Rome, Shorter was a 3-0 winner.

ABOUT LEE: The Flames enter play this weekend at 8-2-1 overall on the season, and the team features a 5-1-0 record in conference play. Summer Lanter and Lauren Peters both lead the team as they both have recorded six goals and an assist on the season.
