HITTING THE ROAD: The UAH men's soccer team continues play this weekend as it heads to Pensacola, Florida, for a 7:30 p.m. match on Friday against West Florida before heading over to Mobile, Alabama, on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. to pay a visit to Spring Hill. UAH is currently 4-8-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the GSC.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH was unbeaten at Charger Park last weekend, defeating visiting Shorter 4-1 on Friday evening before earning a 1-1 tie against Lee on Sunday afternoon. The victory over Shorter represented UAH's second-highest winning margin of the season.  Â

CRUCIAL CONFERENCE CONTESTS: UAH currently sits in seventh place in the GSC which is just one spot outside of postseason qualification, and the Chargers are just two points behind sixth-place Union and a point ahead of eighth-place Christian Brothers. UAH, however, has three games remaining in conference play, while UU and CBU both have just one game left which is against each other.

STELLAR SENIORS: Hermann Bjornsson made his final weekend on the Charger Park pitch count, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists in the two games, and those exploits led to Bjornsson being named the GSC Player of the Week.
Ian Dempsey also landed on the scoresheet during his final home weekend with an assist in the Shorter win.

ABOUT WEST FLORIDA:Â West Florida is unbeaten in their three previous contests and currently owns a 5-5-1 overall record, and they are 4-1-1 in the GSC and occupy third place. Leading the way offensively for West Florida are Marteinn Urbancic and Chandler Castleman who both have four goals and two assists for the year.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers are 13-17-4 all-time against the Argos. The two teams split the season series last year as UAH won in double overtime at home, but UWF took the overtime victory at the GSC tournament in the semifinal round.

ABOUT SPRING HILL: The Badgers are currently 2-9-1 overall on the year and 1-6-0 in conference play after dropping six straight GSC contests entering play this weekend. Forward Ibrahima Ndaw leads Spring Hill with a total of six goals on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH owns a 7-1-0 overall record against the Badgers after UAH was a 2-1 winner last year in the Rocket City.
Jordan Wright scored both goals in the contest for his 12th and 13th of the year.
