ON THE ROAD: The UAH men's soccer team is hitting the road this weekend, traveling to West Tennessee for a 7:15 p.m. contest on Friday at Union and then battling Christian Brothers at 3 p.m. in Memphis on Sunday. UAH owns a 3-6-0 overall mark and a 1-1-0 record in conference play as the team heads out for just its third and fourth road games of the season.
 
RECAPPING LAST WEEK: The Chargers opened up conference play on Friday and picked up a big 5-1 win over Delta State in which four different players scored for UAH, and the team earned a split on the weekend as Sunday saw Mississippi College score in the last minute of regulation to earn a 1-0 victory.
 
GSC STANDINGS UPDATE: Mississippi College paces the league with 15 points having already played five conference games, and there are three teams – Lee, Shorter, and West Florida – tied for second with six points. UAH is in a four-way tie for fifth with its three points.
 
TAKING CHANCES: UAH ranks second in the conference in shots as the Chargers have fired off 148 attempts on the season, and the team features the league leader in the category as 
Hermann Bjornsson has taken 36 shots.
 
HELPING OUT: With his assist in the rout of Delta State, 
Daniel Buchanan now has three assists on the season. That total for the junior leads UAH, and it is a mark that is tied for fifth in the GSC.
 
ABOUT UNION: The Bulldogs enter Friday night's affair with a 3-7-0 overall record and a 1-3-0 mark in conference play, and Union has lost three straight. Cole Asfour paces the Bulldogs offensively as he has two goals and two assists for a total of six points.
 
SERIES HISTORY: UAH moved in front in the overall series with a 1-0 win in Huntsville over Union last year as Buchanan's goal in that contest pushed the Chargers to a 4-3-0 record all-time against UU.
 
ABOUT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS: The Bucs will take a 4-4-0 overall record and 0-3-0 record in conference play into the weekend which starts for CBU with a Friday night visit from West Alabama. Xavi Lao leads the Bucs with five goals on the season.
 
SERIES HISTORY: The series with CBU is a tight one that UAH holds a narrow advantage in at 16-14-3 after winning 3-2 in the Rocket City last season.
