HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team lost to rival North Alabama by a score of 3-0 (22-25, 15-25, 21-25) on Tuesday night at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall to open the week's slate of games. UAH slips to 14-13 (7-10 GSC), while UNA improves to 24-4 (14-3 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- A key 25-15 win in the second set allowed the Lions to take a pivotal 2-0 lead in the match en route to the three-set victory over the Chargers on Tuesday night.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Haley Hop anchored the UAH defense with a team-high 11 digs in the contest to go along with five assists and one service ace offensively.
- Sophomore Anna LeDuc led the attack for the Blue & White with eight kills, followed by seven successful swats by junior Anna Claire Johnson.
- LeDuc also added a team-high three total blocks in addition to three digs in the loss.
- Kirsten Giles paced the squad with 24 assists on Tuesday night to go along with five kills and four digs.
