HOMESTAND CONTINUES: The No. 18 Chargers will continue their 10-game homestand this weekend, welcoming Truman State for a non-conference doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. before hosting a three-game Gulf South Conference set with Lee with a twinbilling on Saturday at 2 p.m. and a 1 p.m. single game on Sunday. UAH enters the weekend at 11-2 (3-0 GSC).

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH started conference play with a home sweep of West Alabama, outscoring the Tigers 32-11 on the weekend. Both
Kaitlyn Bannister and
Taylor Wascavage were strong at the plate in the series as both hit .700 for the weekend.

AROUND THE GSC: With one weekend of conference play in the books, the Chargers are one of three undefeated teams left in the GSC as Shorter and Delta State also picked up sweeps a week ago. West Georgia, North Alabama, and Lee are all 2-1 heading into the second week.

HOT BATS: The Chargers are hitting a GSC-best .353 on the year, and the team features three of the top 10 batters individually in the conference: Wascavage is fourth at .526,
Abby Roberts is ninth at .471, and
Tyler Harrison is 10th at .463. In RBI, UAH owns four of the top 10 spots with Savanna Smith's 20 runs knocked in tied for the conference lead.

STRONG IN THE CIRCLE: Tyler Harrison had yet another strong weekend in the circle last week against UWA, increasing her record to 6-2 on the year while lowering her ERA to 1.47. The Tigers hit just .111 off of her, and the junior is now allowing the opposition to hit just .178.

ABOUT TRUMAN STATE: The Bulldogs head to the Tennessee Valley on Friday with a 2-2 record having played last weekend in Arkansas, falling to Henderson State and Harding while knocking off Nebraska-Kearney and Northeastern State. Christa Reisinger leads the team offensively with a .429 average, while Kelsea Dorsey's 2-0 record and 1.14 ERA leads the squad in the circle.
