SUCCESSFUL START: The Chargers opened their inaugural campaign with a 17-7 victory at Montevallo last Wednesday. UAH benefitted from nine straight unanswered goals in the first half en route to the program's first-ever win.

TOP ROOKIE:
Nicole Federovitch had a stellar performance for the Blue and White in her first collegiate game, pacing the offense with a game-high eight points from seven goals and one assist. Federovitch earned the first-ever GSC Freshman of the Week award for her strong play in last Wednesday's opener.

DEFENSIVE END:
Haleigh Comp notched her first career victory in the win at Montevallo, while stopping six shots during the contest. Comp was aided defensively by
Elizabeth Brown's team-high four ground balls.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following this weekend's games, UAH will open Gulf South Conference play in Rome, Georgia against fellow charter member Shorter on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. The Chargers begin their home slate later that week on Saturday, Feb. 27 against Indianapolis at Charger Park.

HAWKS PROFILE: Rockhurst will be playing its first game of the 2016 season, after finishing its program's second season in 2015 with a 6-7 overall record. Madeline Gilstrap led the Hawks offense last season with 10 goals and 28 assists, while Natalie Washington made 12 starts in goal for a 13.30 goals against average and a .372 save percentage.

LYNX PROFILE: Lindenwood-Belleville will also be playing in its first game this campaign, following a 3-10 record last season. The Lynx are coached by first-year head coach Caitlin Erickson.
