SALISBURY, N.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team dropped its match at Catawba on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The Chargers slip to 1-3 on the season, while the Indians improve to 3-4.

UAH will be back in action on Wednesday at Wingate with the contest scheduled for a 6 p.m. CDT start.

Catawba scored twice in the first quarter to take a 2-0 lead, and the advantage would grow to 4-0 in the second before
Mattie D'Amico got the Chargers on the board with his second goal of the season at the 11:30 mark of the period.

Jack Bishop then made it a two-goal game with his third of the year by scoring a man-up goal with 5:00 left in the half, but the hosts added another goal late in the quarter to make it a 5-2 game at the break.

Four more goals were scored by Catawba in the third quarter before
Colton Nall registered UAH's last score of the game with his third of the season with 5:54 remaining in the frame, and the Indians added another pair in the fourth to create the 11-3 final.

In the contest, Catawba outshot UAH 68-22 with both Daniel Wilson and
Quincy Ward firing off a team-best five. The Indians also held a 50-27 advantage in ground balls, and
Preston Snyder led the Chargers with five.

In clear attempts, UAH was 20-for-34, while the hosts were 22-for-23.
