Ward was one of four players to have a multi-goal day for the Chargers as Kevin Coppinger, Collin Wilcox, and James Cox all added a pair of goals, and of those three two-goal scorers also added assists to each record a three-point day.

Matching the three-point performances and solidifying his place as UAH's offensive leader was Daniel Wilson, Jr., who scored his 11th goal and added two assists to now own 14 points on the season.

Dylan Aden scored UAH's other goal, while Mattie D'Amico picked up an assist.

The hosts set the tone in the contest by scoring seven unanswered in the first quarter before adding four more to hold an 11-3 lead at the half. After the third, ABU increased its margin to 17-6 before both teams scored five times in the fourth to create the 22-11 final.
