HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville picked up two wins on Friday at Spragins Hall, as the Chargers first won a GSC matchup over Mississippi College 3-1 (25-22, 25-16, 24-26, 25-17) followed by a dominant win over Miles by a final of 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-15).

Anna LeDuc paced the offensive attack in the win over Mississippi College, as the sophomore had 16 kills to go along with two service aces and eight digs.

Rachel Brugman (11 kills) and
Anna Claire Johnson (10 kills) joined LeDuc with double-digit kills, while Brugman led the trio with a .292 hitting percentage.

Haley Hop posted 16 digs in the contest to lead the defense, followed by Johnson with 14 and
Kirsten Giles with 13.
- Giles finished the match with a double-double with 43 assists in addition to her dig total.

- With the Chargers clinging to a 11-9 lead in the opening stanza, UAH went on to post seven consecutive points en route to the 25-22 win in the first.
- After a back-and-forth second set, the Chargers rallied for the final six points of the frame for the 25-16 win.
- Mississippi College was able to come from behind to win the third set, as the Choctaws trailed 23-21 late but would notch five of the last six points for a 26-24 win.
- UAH completed the four-set win thanks to a total of four, three-point runs and one, four-point rally in the fourth frame.
