MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer struck first, but Auburn Montgomery would mount a comeback on Sunday in a 3-1 decision in Gulf South Conference action. The Chargers slip to 3-7-0 (2-6-0 GSC), while the Warhawks improve to 4-4-0 (3-2-0 GSC).

Turning Points
-With time winding down in the opening half,
Riley Ridgeway opened the scoring in the contest as she tallied off a deflection in the 44th minute to put the visiting side up 1-0.
-The hosts, however, had an answer almost immediately to start the second half with Ruby Mendez scoring in the 47th to tie the contest at 1-1, and a 57th-minute strike from Mendez put the Warhawks on top 2-1.
-Mendez then sealed the contest and completed her hat trick with another score in the 85th.

Inside the Box Score
-UAH outshot the Warhawks by a 10-8 clip including a 5-1 margin in the game's opening period, and the Chargers also built up a 6-5 edge in attempts that were on target.
-The Chargers also led in corners on the afternoon, earning four to AUM's one.
-Each of Ridgeway,
Alex Barnett, and
Arieal Alexander led the team with a pair of shots, with Barnett pacing the team in shots on target as both of hers were on goal.

-Ridgeway continues to lead in UAH in scoring as she now has a team-best in both goals and assists with three and four, respectively, to total 10 points.
-The 10 points for Ridgeway represents a career-best for the senior, surpassing her previous high of eight which came in her freshman campaign when she had a goal and six assists.
-UAH's shot advantage marks the third time this season that the Chargers have outshot the opposition.
