Amanda Elsey scored with seven seconds remaining in regulation, lifting The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team to a thrilling 2-1 victory over visiting Christian Brothers on Friday night at Charger Park. The Chargers improve to 6-7-0 (4-6-0 Gulf South Conference), while CBU slips to 8-4-1 (6-3-1 GSC).

-The game was a scoreless affair through the first 69 minutes until Bailey Tadlock tallied for the guests to put the Lady Bucs up 1-0, but the Chargers had an answer just over seven minutes later in the 76th when
Hannah Oglesby's corner was booted in by
Riley Ridgeway to knot the contest at 1-1.
-With the prospect of overtime looming large over the proceedings, the Chargers pushed forward with urgency in the closing seconds of the period, and freshman
Carly Fee pushed it to
Amanda Elsey who buried it in the 90th minute to give the Chargers the victory.

-The Chargers are just three points out of a tie for the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament, sitting behind West Georgia who has played one more game than UAH and West Alabama who has 15 points on 10 league games.
