ON THE ROAD AGAIN: The UAH men's soccer team concludes its regular season road slate this weekend, heading to Lee for a 4 p.m. CDT contest on Friday and then taking on Shorter in the Peach State at 2:30 p.m. CDT on Sunday. The Chargers head into the weekend at 6-5-2 (5-1-2 Gulf South Conference).

LAST TIME OUT: UAH took its first conference setback of the year on Friday night, falling 3-1 to Christian Brothers, but the Chargers responded in fine form with a 4-1 victory over Union with each of the scores coming in the second 45 minutes of play.

AROUND THE GSC: The top of the conference standings remain tight with West Alabama at 7-1-0 leading the way on 21 points. Mississippi College and Christian Brothers have identical 6-2-1 marks to own 19 points in a tie for second, while UAH – who has played one less conference games than both MC and CBU – is in fourth on 17 points which is three points ahead of Lee who is fifth with 14 points. The top two teams at the end of the regular season will earn byes in the first round of the conference tournament, while the third and fourth spots will host quarterfinal contests before the event shifts to Montgomery, Alabama.

LEADING THE WAY: Corentin Diverres leads UAH with 16 points from his five goals and team-best six assists. The six assists for the Frenchman lead the GSC and rank him 20th in Division II, while he ranks 34th in the country in assists per game. The team's leading goal scorer is Jordan Wright who has six on the year, and he has added two assists to own 14 points.

TOUGH SLATE: The initial version of the NCAA regional rankings were released this week, and further proving that UAH has played quite the tough schedule, the team has played four of the top six teams in the South Region in No. 1 Palm Beach Atlantic, No. 2 Lynn, No. 4 Mississippi College, and No. 6 Florida Tech. Additionally, West Alabama is ranked third, and the Chargers will welcome UWA to Charger Park next Thursday night.

ABOUT LEE: The Flames are 5-4-4 (4-3-2 GSC) heading into action this weekend, and the team is a solid 3-1-3 in home matches. Lee features a balanced scoring attack with each of Jared McWhorter, Alfie Coldron, and Samaan Williams scoring a team-high three times, while McWhorter and Coldron have both added an assist to tie for the team lead in points with seven.

SERIES HISTORY: Lee holds a 4-2-1 edge in the all-time series between the two programs, and the one tie in the previous meetings came last year when each team scored near the midway point of the opening half in the 1-1 tie.

ABOUT SHORTER: The Hawks are 3-10-0 overall and 2-6-0 in conference play, and the squad heads into its Friday night game against West Alabama on four-game slide. With four goals and two assists allowing him to total 10 points, Felix Guijosa leads the team offensively.

SERIES HISTORY: Sunday's meeting marks the 11th between the two sides, and both programs have five wins in the series. A year ago in Huntsville, the Chargers were 4-1 winners to level the all-time record with the Hawks.
