WEEKEND IN THE MAGNOLIA STATE: The UAH men's soccer team is set for a key road swing through Mississippi, visiting Mississippi College in a pivotal showdown on Friday at 3 p.m. before venturing to Delta State for a contest that is slated for a 3 p.m. kick-off on Sunday. The Chargers head into the weekend at 4-4-1 overall and 3-0-1 in GSC play.

LAST TIME OUT: Playing with 10 men for much of the contest, UAH gutted out a 2-2 draw at Montevallo last Friday before dropping Auburn Montgomery 5-0 on Sunday.

AROUND THE GSC: Mississippi College leads the GSC with 15 points on a 5-1-0 record, while Christian Brothers is in second at 12 points thanks to its 4-1-0 record. The Chargers are in third as the only unbeaten group in the league with 10 points at 3-0-1, while West Alabama and Lee are tied for fourth as both squads have nine points.

HIGH-OCTANE OFFENSE: The UAH offensive front has been coming alive as of late with seven goals in its last two games, nearly doubling its scoring output in the previous seven games combined as the Chargers now rank third in the league with 15 goals scored on the year. Additionally, Jordan Wright ranks among the best offensively as he is second in the league with 11.

MINDING THE NET: Heading into the crucial weekend, goalkeeper Myles Fullen will look to continue his recent string of strong showings as he has allowed just two goals in his last three outings, and both of those came in the Montevallo game when UAH was playing down a man. In that contest, the Nolensville, Tennessee, native posted a season-best six saves.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: The Choctaws are 8-1-1 (5-1-0 GSC) on the season with that first loss coming last weekend in a 3-0 setback at home to Union. The squad is scoring two goals per game and feature six different players who have at least three goals on the season, while goalkeeper Humberto Perez has a 0.87 goals against average while posting four shutouts.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers hold a 2-1-0 lead in the brief all-time series with MC, but it was the Choctaws who won last year's meeting as the team scored with just 12 seconds remaining in regulation to take a 1-0 victory in Huntsville.

ABOUT DELTA STATE: The Statesmen are 2-7-1 (0-6-0 GSC) heading into this weekend which starts for them with a Friday visit from West Alabama. Brock Hollier leads the team with a pair of goals on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is 15-2-0 all-time against Delta State including a 5-1 win in Huntsville last season. Both Guy Clennett and Khalil Bell scored in that contest.
