OAKLAND CITY, Ind. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team used a strong fourth quarter to push past host Oakland City on Saturday, winning 79-68 to move to 3-1 on the year. The Lady Oaks slip to 0-4.

Turning Point
-With Oakland City leading 65-64 with 5:02 remaining in the game, Chandler Elder made a jumper fall to put the Chargers ahead for good as she sparked what would be a 14-4 run to end the game.

Inside the Box Score
-Four different players scored in double figures with Baylee Johnson and Katie Speegle leading the way as both scored 17, while Chandler Elder and Loren Foster chipped in with strong 15-point showings.
-Foster knocked down four 3-pointers while grabbing four boards and adding an assist, while Elder handed out a team-best six assists and grabbed seven boards.
-Emme Willoughby was terrific for UAH on the glass, grabbing a team-high eight rebounds, and for good measure she also picked up a pair of blocks, two assists, and a steal.
-Johnson had a strong day at the charity stripe, going a perfect 8-for-8 in free throw opportunities.
-Leading the Lady Oaks on the day was Alicia Wilson who scored 22.
-For the game, UAH shot the ball at a 44.1 percent clip with Oakland City connecting at a 42.1 percent rate, but the difference in the game came at the free throw line where UAH was 19-for-25 and OCU was 10-for-12.
-The Chargers dominated the boards, grabbing 44 rebounds to the home team's 30, and UAH was also terrific inside, outscoring the Lady Oaks by a 34-16 clip in the paint.

Inside the Flow
-Oakland City scored the game's first nine points and eventually led by as many as 12 points in the opening quarter, but the Chargers would narrow the gap to just five at 18-13 going into the second.
-A Johnson triple pulled UAH to within two at 18-16 just over a minute into the second frame, but OCU then outscored 15-7 over the remainder of the period to go into the locker room up 33-23 at the half.
-In the third, the lead for the Lady Oaks would grow to 41-30 at the 6:42 mark, but a 16-4 spurt for the Chargers over the next four minutes put the guests ahead for the first time at 46-45 before OCU was able to respond and regain a 54-52 lead by the end of the quarter.
-The fourth quarter would feature five lead changes and two ties as the teams exchanged blows in the opening minutes before the late push by the Chargers sealed the contest.

-Through four games, the Chargers now feature four different players averaging in double figures with Johnson's 19.0 points per game leading the way as she has scored in double digits in each game.
-The eight rebounds for the freshman Willoughby represent a season-best and nearly double her total on the year to 17.
-The Chargers set a single-game high for the young season with 10 steals.
-UAH's 25 trips to the free throw line represent a season-high for the team.
