HARROGATE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team dropped its road game on Saturday, falling 10-8 to host Lincoln Memorial. UAH slips to 0-2 on the season, while LMU improves to 1-1.

Turning Point
-With the game tied at 8-8 late in the game, the Railsplitters scored twice in under two minutes – with 5:05 left and again at the 3:17 mark of the fourth – to seal the contest.

Luke LeVette had a fantastic day offensively for the Chargers as he scored once while also adding five assists to finish the contest with six points.
-Fellow freshman
Jack Utrevis had a pair of goals and an assist to log three points in the game, while both
Collin Wilcox and
Bryant Baus scored twice on the day.
-Also adding an assist each were
Kevin Coppinger and
Colton Nall.
-The Chargers recorded 24 ground balls in the game, and Utrevis paced the team with five while also causing two turnovers.
-UAH was 12-for-21 in faceoffs on the day with
Jake Fowler winning 12 of 18.

Michl McNeil picked up the loss in the cage for the Chargers, registering seven saves in the contest.
-LMU outshot the Chargers by a 37-30 margin in the contest while holding a smaller 17-15 advantage in shots on goal, and UAH was 12-for-18 in clears compared to a 15-for-18 showing from the Railsplitters.

-Utrevis opened the scoring with a man-up goal at the 8:56 mark of the first quarter, and after LMU scored two minutes later,
Mattie D'Amico would have a quick answer with 6:14 left in the opening frame that put the Chargers up 2-1.
-The teams would exchange goals again, and the first from Wilcox came with just under two minutes left in the first to give the Chargers a 3-2 lead going into the second.
-After LMU outscored UAH 3-1 in the second, the hosts would strike first quickly into the third to go up 6-4, but the Chargers would score three of the next four goals to level the contest at 7-7 with 9:38 left in the contest when LeVette scored.
-The Railsplitters would go back in front just over a minute later, but with 6:54 left in the game, the Chargers would get the second goal from Baus to tie it up before LMU scored the pair of goals late to win the game.

Noteworthy
-The five assists for LeVette represent a new single-game record for the Chargers as no one recorded more than three in a game last year during the inaugural season.
-Baus and Utrevis now share the team lead in goal scoring as both have five on the year, while LeVette's eight points are also a team-best.
