CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team topped Lee 10-9 on Sunday afternoon to cap off the three-game Gulf South Conference series. UAH improves to 3-7 (1-2 GSC), while LU slips to 9-2 (2-1 GSC).

Game-Changer
- UAH benefitted from a pair of three-hit, two RBI performances by Justin Ware and Lance Cleveland en route to the Chargers first GSC win in 2017.

Inside the Box Score
- The Chargers opened up the contest with a seven-run rally in the top of the first to own a 7-0 lead early, as AJ Walden, Nolan Ramsey, Cleveland, Tanner Burns and Ware would record RBI in the frame.
- UAH would add one run to the advantage to make it 8-0 on a RBI single by Cleveland in the second, but Lee drew within three at 8-5 with a five-run rally in the bottom of the third.
- An RBI groundout by Rhodes extended the Chargers lead to 9-5 in the fifth.
- Lee went on to score one run in the sixth and plate an additional two in the seventh to slim the UAH lead to 9-8, but a RBI triple to right-center in the ninth by Burns gave UAH a 10-8 cushion.
- The Flames plated one run in the ninth to bring the game to its 10-9 final, as Taylor Clemons notched his first save of the season working the final 1.2 innings.
- Riley Camp made the start for the Chargers, earning a no-decision with five runs allowed – zero earned – with one walk.
- Heath McRae improved to 2-0 after tossing 2.2 innings with three runs allowed and three strikeouts after Camp's exit.
- UAH totaled 17 base hits in the contest, led by Cleveland, Walden and Ware with three apiece.
- Burns, Cleveland and Ware had a team-high two RBI each.

- Ware's set a season-high with both three base hits and two doubles.
- Cleveland's three hit day were his first, second and third hits as a Charger.
- The Chargers 17 base hits were the most this season, and the highest total since banging out 19 hits against Mississippi College last season on April 16.
