CLINTON, Miss. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team picked up the Gulf South Conference series win with an 13-7 victory over Mississippi College on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the three-game set. UAH improves to 20-21 (13-14 GSC), while MC dips to 16-22 (12-14 GSC).

Game-Changer
- After Mississippi College drew within two at 9-7, UAH pulled ahead to 11-7 with an infield RBI single by
Ben Rhodes and a sac fly by
Nolan Ramsey to earn the GSC series win and the 13-7 victory.

- UAH started the scoring in the top of the first on a two-RBI single by Ramsey, which was quickly negated in the bottom of the first on a three-run inning by the Choctaws to lead 3-2.
- Ramsey delivered another go-ahead base hit in the top of the third on a two-RBI double to left, but MC responded yet again with two runs over its own to retake the lead at 5-4.
- The Chargers plated one run in the fourth in addition to two runs in the fifth and sixth innings – highlighted by a solo home run by
Justin Ware – to own a 9-5.

- Ware scored a game-high four runs, while Ramsey drove in a team-high five runs.

- In his first starting performance of the season, sophomore
Taylor Clemons notched the win to improve to 3-2 on the year after tossing 6.0 innings with six earned runs allowed and six strikeouts.
