FLORENCE, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team slipped in the Gulf South Conference series finale at rival North Alabama by a final score of 8-7 on Sunday afternoon. UAH dips to 15-18 (10-11 GSC), while UNA improves to 20-14 (13-8 GSC).

Game-Changer
- After UAH turned the tables with a five-run rally with two outs in the eighth to lead 7-4, North Alabama took the 8-7 victory on a three-run walk-off home run by Brandt Holland in the bottom of the ninth.

Inside the Box
- North Alabama controlled the contest early in the game with one run in both the first and second inning, prior to extending the advantage to 4-0 on a two-run homer by Peyton Sockwell in the bottom of the sixth.
- UAH dug into the hosts lead with two runs of its own in the top of the seven on a RBI single by
Tanner Burns and a RBI sac fly by
Ben Rhodes to slim the deficit to 4-2.
- The Chargers offense continued to build momentum in the top of the eight with a five-run rally to overtake the lead at 7-4, thanks to a two-RBI double by
Wright Hackett in addition to RBI base hits by
Justin Ware, Burns and Rhodes all with two outs in the frame.
- After working a scoreless eighth, UAH reliever
Taylor Clemons allowed two hits in the ninth before Holland's walk-off homer which brought the game to its 8-7 final.
- Clemons record slips to 1-2 on the year, after allowing four runs in 1.2 innings with one walk and one strikeout.

Ian McCoy made the start on the mound for UAH, turning in 2.2 innings with two runs, two walks and one strikeout.
