ON THE ROAD: After starting the new campaign with a pair of home games, the UAH women's soccer team will now hit the road for three games this week including the start of conference play. A non-conference tilt at Division I member Alabama A&M is on tap for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and then the squad will travel to the Magnolia State for the state of GSC action, taking on Delta State on Friday at 2 p.m. and playing at Mississippi College at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Â
DEPTH ON DISPLAY: Head coach
Jimmy Mitchell was excited heading into the new season to see how his team would be with elevated expectations from more quality among his reserves, and that depth has been on display already just two games into the year. As an example,
Brynn Colvin subbed into Sunday's contest in the 31st minute, had a strong scoring chance in the 32nd minute, and the team ultimate scored its second goal of the game in the 33rd.
Â
ABOUT ALABAMA A&M: The Bulldogs are 0-3 on the young season with losses to Winthrop, The Citadel, and USC Upstate. Â
ABOUT DELTA STATE: The Lady Statesmen began the 2017 season in the Lonestar State, falling 5-3 to Texas A&M International and 2-0 to St. Mary's. Delta State was picked to finish 13th in the GSC in the preseason poll of the conference's head coaches.

Sydney Pfankuch also scored in a 3-1 victory.
Â
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE: MC is off to a strong start early on, beginning the season with a 1-0 victory over Sunshine State Conference opponent Rollins and earning a solid 0-0 draw with No. 13 North Georgia. The goaltending duties have been split between Gabby Kayser and Andrea McDonald who have combined to thus far shut out the opposition.
Â
SERIES HISTORY: MC holds a 2-1-0 advantage in the brief all-time series between the two programs, and the Choctaws won last year's meeting in Huntsville by a 3-0 score.
