Lee Pushes Past UAH on Friday Night at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville fell on Friday night, dropping a 3-0 decision to visiting Lee at Charger Park. The Chargers slip to 3-11-2 (2-8-1 Gulf South Conference), while the Flames improve to 9-5-1 (6-4-0 GSC).
 
Turning Points
-The Flames scored in the 15th and 33rd minutes to grab a 2-0 lead by the half with Kate Carney and Kelsey Yoder scoring the goals.
-The visitors iced the contest in the 90th minute when Julie Kaset scored to create the 3-0 final.
 
Inside the Box Score
-The Flames built up a 27-3 advantage in shots in the contest including an 11-1 edge in shots on goal, and the guests also built up a 6-1 margin in corners in the game.
-Each of Hannah Oglesby, Rachel Collins, and Arieal Alexander had UAH's attempts with Collins registering the effort that was on frame.
-Megan Buford made eight stops in goal for UAH.
-There were just 18 fouls whistled in the game, and there were no bookings.
 
Noteworthy
-Buford now has 95 saves on the season, surpassing her total of 87 from a year ago.

-The Chargers will return to the Charger Park pitch on Sunday, facing Shorter at 3:30 p.m. UAH will honor its three seniors – Alex Barnett, Mia Jetsu, and Oglesby – prior to the contest in a Senior Day ceremony.
