UAH Slips in Tuesday Matchup at Lee

CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team dropped a Tuesday night Gulf South Conference matchup at Lee by a score of 3-0 (26-28, 21-25, 19-25) to open the week's schedule. UAH dips to 19-9 (7-5 GSC), while LU improves to 14-3 (10-3 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- Lee tacked on the final two points in the 28-26 win in the first set to take the early lead, and the Flames would not look back as they won the last two sets by scores of 25-21 and 25-19 to notch the three- set win.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Anna LeDuc paced the Chargers overall attack with a team-high 14 kills in addition to totaling six digs on the defensive end.
- Isabelle Barnes followed LeDuc with 11 kills while posting a team-high .290 hitting percentage in the contest.
- Haley Hop anchored the defense with a team-best 25 digs, with fellow senior Lorah Yonce rating second on the roster with 17 scoops.
- Nine Chargers had at least two digs.
- Freshman Kendall Scharbert posted a team-high three total blocks to go along with four kills.
- Sabrina Duncan registered a team-best 23 assists and chipped in four digs.
- Five UAH players had two kills or more on Tuesday.

- LeDuc has registered 10 or more kills in three of the past four matches, totaling double-digit kills nine times so far this season.
