HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team dropped its home contest to Montevallo on Friday night, falling 7-0 at Charger Park. The Chargers slip to 2-9-1 (1-6-0 Gulf South Conference), while UM improves to 5-4-2 (3-3-0 GSC).

-Montevallo opened the scoring in the second minute of the contest, and would score twice more in the opening half to hold a 3-0 lead by the break.
-The guests then scored four more times in the second half to create the 7-0 final.

-The Falcons outshot the hots by a 26-6 margin including an 18-3 edge in attempts that were on target, and UM also earned eight corners in the game.
