HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team fell on Monday night 82-70 to West Alabama in a game that was much closer than the final score would indicate. UAH slips to 14-10 (7-9 Gulf South Conference) on the year, while UWA moves to 17-6 (11-4 GSC).

Turning Point
-After UAH had a game-tying basket nullified on an offensive foul, West Alabama's Gavin Robinson scored on the ensuing possession, and the Tigers were then given four free throws after a technical foul was assessed after a Tiger defensive rebound on UAH's next trip down. All told, UWA finished the game on a 10-0 run that included eight free throws.
