NASHVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team fell in a neutral site game on Friday night, dropping a 12-6 decision to Tusculum in Nashville. The Chargers fall to 4-2 on the year, while the Pioneers improve to 2-2.

-TC started the game by scoring the contest's first six goals to grab a large lead it would not relinquish the rest of the way.

Inside the Box Score
-The Chargers were led offensively on the night by
Kevin Coppinger who scored a pair of goals, while
Emory Weaver matched his two-point performance by scoring and adding an assist.
-UAH's other goals from
Luke LeVette,
Jacob Glen, and
Nicholas Ranta.

Kyle Siersma was charged with the loss in goal for the Chargers, recording four saves in his three quarters of action on the night.
-Picking up a team-best seven ground balls for UAH was

Â-Tusculum scored the first six goals of the game including holding a 4-0 lead at the end of the first, and the Chargers got on the board in the second when LeVette scored at the 9:35 mark.

Jacob Glen gave UAH its second goal with 7:52 left in the period to make it 6-2, and after the Pioneers scored with 6:41 remaining, that 7-2 score would hold through the halftime break.
-The Pioneers scored a pair of goals to start the third quarter to go up 9-2, and after Coppinger's first of the night made it 9-3, TC would add on another to make it 10-3 going into the fourth.
-Coppinger's second came just over four minutes into the fourth to pull UAH within six, but another pair of goals from Tusculum made it 12-4 with just under seven minutes left in the game.
-Weaver and Ranta then closed out the scoring in the contest to create the 12-6 final.

-LeVette's tally is his team-best 20th of the season, while Coppinger's pair gives him 12 on the year which ranks second on the team.
-The seven ground balls for Kubik match his season-high.

-The Chargers will be back in action on Thursday at Charger Park when the team welcomes Felician to the Rocket City. That contest is slated for a 3 p.m. start on the UAH campus.
