Â
Game Changer
-A two-run homer for Shorter in the first inning would prove to be all the runs that the hosts would need as Payton Lippert went the distance for the Hawks in the circle and limited UAH to five hits.
Â
Inside the Box Score

Shelby Booker who also drove in the lone run of the game for the Chargers.

Â
Key Plays

Reagan Malone, allowing her to score on Booker's two-out base hit.
-The Hawks then tacked onto the lead with a pair of runs in the bottom frame of the third that created the eventual 4-1 final.
-The Chargers would threaten in each of the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings, stranding a pair on base in each of the frames.
