ROME, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team won its second straight road game on Friday night, defeating Shorter 12-1. The Chargers improve to 8-5 (3-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference), while Shorter slips to 1-12 (0-4 GLVC).

-UAH shut out the Hawks in the first two quarters with Ranta, Utrevis and Zois scoring in the first, and Kubik – who tallied with UAH down a man – LeVette, and Weaver would score in the second quarter to make it a 6-0 lead for UAH at the break.
-Shorter's goal came with 12:09 left in the third quarter, but LeVette would score a man-up goal with Merrow and Glen both adding scores in the third to put the Chargers up 9-1 going to the fourth.
-LeVette, Weaver, and Wilcox then wrapped up the scoring for the Chargers.

-UAH's 43 shots on goal represent a season-high for the team.
-LeVette moves to 32 goals on the season, and he takes over the team lead in points with 36.
-The man-down goal by Kubik is the first by a Charger this season, and it marks the first since Utrevis scored with UAH down a man against Chowan on March 8 of last season.
