HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with visiting Alabama A&M on Monday night at Charger Park. The Chargers move to 0-3-1 on the year, while AAMU goes to 0-6-1.

Turning Points
-Tehya Beadles opened the scoring for the visitors, tallying in the eighth minute of the contest, and that 1-0 lead would hold for the Bulldogs until the 33rd when
Annie Burd assisted on
Brynn Colvin's score that would knot the contest at 1-1.
-Buford then made several significant stops including on back-to-back point-blank tries in the 56th and a diving effort in the 81st that would help send the game into overtime.
-A&M had the best chance of the two overtime, nearly scoring as time ran out on the first period, but Buford made a tremendous stop to help give her team the tie.

-The Bulldogs outshot the home side by a 21-10 margin including a 12-5 edge in attempts that were on target, and A&M also built up a 5-3 advantage in corners.
-Buford finished the evening with 11 saves in goal for the Chargers.

-The draw is UAH's first tie since a 1-1 contest with Christian Brothers on Oct. 2, 2015.
-Buford now has 21 saves on the season, and she has recorded double figures in saves in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.
-The goal for Colvin is the first of her sophomore year, and she now owns four for her career after scoring three times a year ago.
-The five shots for Colvin represent a career high.
