MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team picked up its 10th win of the season on Monday, going on the road and knocking off Christian Brothers 73-63. The Chargers improve to 10-4 (3-3 Gulf South Conference), while CBU slips to 8-6 (3-3 GSC).

Turning Point
-After CBU had turned a 13-point lead for the Chargers into a tied game with 11:28 remaining, a 9-0 run that included a big dunk from
JJ Kaplan and was capped off by a 3-point basket from
Seth Swalve gave UAH the cushion it would need to secure the victory.

Inside the Box Score
-
Tanner Finley led a group of four Chargers who scored in double figures as the senior knocked down four 3-pointers on his way to tallying 16 points while also grabbing six rebounds.
-Kaplan made seven shots and scored 15 while leading the team on the glass with seven rebounds, and
Sam Orf added 13 to go along with a team-best four assists.

-After logging just 19 rebounds in the setback at Union on Saturday, UAH responded by outrebounding the Bucs 33-23, and 10 of those rebounds were on the offensive glass to give UAH a 14-6 edge in second-chance points.
-Another key difference in the game, UAH's bench outscored the CBU reserves by an 18-10 margin.

Inside the Flow
-After a Finley 3-pointer opened the scoring, the hosts would quickly take the lead and built up a six-point advantage at 14-8 by the 12:12 mark of the opening half, but a 21-8 run for UAH that was punctuated by seven straight points gave the Chargers a 29-22 lead with 4:10 left until the half.
-UAH went into the break leading 32-28 and scored 11 of the first 13 points in the second half to take its biggest lead of the night after a
Seth Swalve trey made it 43-30 with 16:18 left in the game, but the Bucs quickly answered, pulling back into a tie at both 45-45 and 47-47 before the Chargers ripped off the aforementioned 9-0 run.
-The lead would push back out to 13 for the Chargers after Kaplan completed an old-fashioned 3-point play to make it 71-58 with 1:41 left in the game, putting the contest away for the vistors.
