Chargers Tripped Up By Visiting West Florida Friday Night

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team fell at home on Friday night, dropping a 2-0 decision to visiting West Florida. UAH slips to 3-8-1 (1-6-0 GSC) with the setback, while UWF improves to 8-3-0 (5-2-0 GSC).
 
Turning Points
-The Argonauts got on the board in the 13th minute after earning a penalty which Jessica Quixley would convert, and the score remained 1-0 through the halftime break.
-UWF added to its lead and created the eventual 2-0 final when Lee Ducharme tallied in the 51st.
 
Inside the Box Score
-West Florida outshot the Chargers by a 28-3 margin including a 15-1 edge in shots on goal, and the visitors also established a 12-1 advantage in corners.
-Laura Hasani was responsible for two of UAH's shots, and she also logged the effort that was on target for the Blue and White.
-Adriana Wright made eight stops in goal, while Megan Buford came on in reserve after Wright was issued a red card in the 83rd minute and registered five saves.
-There were just 13 fouls whistled in the game, and there were three bookings.

-Wright now has 63 saves on the season.
-Buford's five stops mark a season-best for the junior.
